Mermaid swimming encourages many children who, after obtaining their B diploma, would otherwise rarely or never go to the pool, to start swimming again. Not only is it good for fitness and creativity, but also for swimming safety!
The result of this trend is that mermaid swimming lessons are popping up everywhere. And although we welcome these lessons, there are too many “instructors” who just do whatever. This false sense of security causes children to become overconfident because they think they can swim well, and this is dangerous.
