How can I pay?

Yes, you can! With Klarna, you only pay after you have received your order.
How much warranty do you provide?
We deliver high-quality mermaid tails and AirTracks at a fair price. Our mermaid tails come with a 12-month warranty, and our AirTrack collection with a 2-year warranty. The warranty covers manufacturing and production defects only; wear and physical damage are not included.
Use AirTracks indoors & outdoors
AirTracks are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. However, keep in mind that intensive outdoor use can shorten their lifespan. Prolonged exposure to sunlight, heat, or moisture can cause material aging, such as discoloration, drying out, or stickiness of the top layer. When an AirTrack is left outside permanently, for example on grass or under trees, this can damage the material faster and weaken the adhesive layers.
Our advice
Always store the AirTrack after use clean, dry, and folded, preferably in a cool and dry place. Damage or aging caused by sun, rain, moisture, or dirt is not covered by the warranty. If you have any questions or doubts, you can always contact us, we are happy to help you.💖
Where can I see if a product is in stock?
The current stock of our products can always be found on the product page, directly below the purchase button.
For bundles, the stock is automatically determined based on the individual products in the set. If one of the components is out of stock, you will temporarily not be able to select or order the bundle.
In rare cases, an error message may appear during checkout. This means that the product is unfortunately no longer in stock at that moment, even though it still appeared to be available. We are, of course, working to resolve this as quickly as possible.
How do I get a back in stock update?
For a sold-out product, first choose the size you want. As soon as you select a sold-out size, the “Notify me” button will appear. Click on it and enter your details to receive a notification as soon as this size is back in stock.
You can sign up with your email address and, if you want, also with an SMS alert. Then choose your country code and enter your mobile number. You will then receive a message as soon as that exact size is available again.
With bundles, this works a bit differently because the bundle itself does not have stock but the individual products do. That is why you see a link to the individual products there. Through that page, you can sign up for a stock notification per product and size.
Shipping & Delivery
What are the shipping costs?
Shipping within the Netherlands and to Belgium is free. For other countries, please contact us in advance.
What is the delivery time?
Orders for mermaid tails and Airtracks are usually delivered to you within 2 working days by GLS.
Shipments to Belgium may take an extra day.
If a product is out of stock, it will be clearly indicated on the product page when new stock will arrive and whether products from that new stock can still be reserved.
Can I pick up an order from you?
No, unfortunately that is not possible. We work exclusively online and do not have a physical store or pick-up location.
Returns & Exchanges
When will my package be delivered?

I want to return my order and get my money back, how do I do that?
Cooling-off period
You have the right to cancel your order up to 14 days after receipt without giving any reason. After cancellation, you have another 14 days to return the product.
Conditions
- Return the product complete and preferably in the original packaging.
- Mermaid tails, bikinis, and monofins can only be returned if they have not been used for swimming.
- AirTracks must be in new condition.
- Products must be clean and neat.
- If a product or packaging is more damaged than necessary for assessment, a depreciation may be charged.
Refund & costs
After receiving your return, we will refund the full order amount within 14 days or exchange the product. Return shipping costs are at your own expense. When exchanging, we will send the new product to you free of charge – you only pay for the return shipment.

Always contact us first via contact through info@mermaidsisters.nl or the return form to receive a return number and further instructions.
I received my product damaged, what should I do?
Both in the factory and in our warehouse we check the products for damage. If we miss something, we will of course solve this with you immediately. Check immediately after receiving your order for damage. If this is the case, please inform us within 3 days of receipt.
I would like to make an adjustment to my order, is that still possible?
If you have not yet received confirmation that we have shipped your order, you can always make an adjustment to your order.
Airtrack questions
What is the difference between the old Airtracks collection and the new model?
For the new collection, we looked at how we can make our Airtracks even better in every aspect. Therefore, we made the side from thicker PVC to extend the lifespan. The suspension has been improved by using even better “double wall fabric,” the core of the Airtrack.
And we looked at how we can make the Airtrack even more beautiful. For this, we switched to a new production method that is also used by top brands in the SUP industry. This method ensures a better finish. An additional advantage is that the connection of the different parts has become much stronger, allowing us to now offer a 2-year warranty.
Finally, we looked for a way to implement all these improvements while still making the price more accessible so that more kids and adults can enjoy the many benefits of an Airtrack. The solution was found in a collaboration with 3 other serious Airtrack providers active in other countries. Through this collaboration, we can significantly reduce the cost price of the Airtracks, which in turn has a positive effect on the prices.
There are many suppliers for AirTracks, how do I choose the right one?
Always check the company where you want to buy. There are a number of companies active in the Netherlands that have been around for years and where you can therefore safely order. However, there are also a few providers that are not clear about, for example, the delivery time or that have it shipped directly from Chinese sales platforms, which means that you still have to pay VAT and import duties upon receipt and cannot claim any warranty.
Therefore always check in advance how long the website has been around (www.sidn.nl) and whether they have real reviews on e.g. Google, Facebook or Trustpilot. Reviews on your own site say little, anyone can put them there.
What about the delivery time on the AirTracks?
View the description of the AirTrack in question. This clearly states whether the AirTrack is in stock. If this is not the case, it will state the next date on which new stock will arrive and whether there are still AirTracks available from that stock. You then have the choice to place your order now, which guarantees your reservation, or to wait until the specified date and order at that time.
Why are your AirTracks cheaper than many other suppliers?
We get this question a lot. We like to turn the question around, “why are they so expensive?” 😉
The production of AirTracks is becoming more affordable. However, many suppliers still hold on to the old price level. Some still work with an older and more expensive production process, which means they have to keep their prices high. In addition, there are also suppliers who can deliver cheaper but choose a higher profit because many people are still willing to pay their high prices.
Just like we have been doing for several years with the mermaid tails, we choose to deliver high quality AirTracks for an affordable price.
Are your AirTracks waterproof?
Yes, you can use the AirTrack on the water without any problems.
Is there a difference between the front and back of the AirTrack?
Yes. All Airtracks have Velcro on one side. This allows you to attach an extra AirTrack, for example. The other side has a line across the middle.

When can my child swim with a mermaid tail?
We recommend that children only swim with a mermaid tail if they have obtained diplomas A and B. In addition, there must always be adult supervision.
How do I maintain my mermaid tail?
The best way to properly maintain your mermaid tail is to rinse it with cold water after swimming and let it dry thoroughly before storing it away. You can machine wash it on a cold setting, but it will shorten its lifespan.
How do I put on the tail?
The easiest way to put on the tail is when it is dry and your feet are wet. You roll the tail all the way up until you see the black fin. You sit on the edge of the pool and then you put your feet in the monofin and roll the tail up over your legs as far as possible. You can do the last part while you jump in the pool.

What shoe size are the monofins for?
The tails in sizes 6 to 12 are supplied with a monofin that is suitable for sizes 31 to 38. From size XS the tails are supplied with a monofin that is suitable for sizes 35 and larger.
